Know about Ayurveda
Ayurveda has always been the “SOFT” Topic in INDIA. With the new Govt. Policies, it has earned the significant acceleration. However, we have few questions on the Topic, which are trying to resolve at our level with our strength.
Is Ayurveda catering all the segments of our Society viz, Economically Backward Class, Economically Middle class, Economically Rich class?
We strongly feel there should be 3 Divisions of Ayurvedic Medicines catering the above said segments of society. This we can illustrate with 2 classical examples of Ayurvedic Medicines
A) According to Ayurveda, Pitta can be treated by Shankha Bhasma (which is of lesser price, catering the Poor Segment. Pitta can also be treated with Praval Bhasma which is of medium price, catering the Middle class of Society. Pitta can also be treated with Mouktik Bhasma which is of Highest Price in the lot, catering the Rich Segment of the Society.
B) In Ayurveda,
• There are different types of medicines like Choorna, Heem, Phant, Quath (Kashay) which are of lesser price catering Economically Backward Segment.
• Guti, Vati & other types of medicines involve classical process & technology making them of medium priced, catering the middle class.
• Last segment covering Suvarna Kalpa, Guti vati using the costlier raw material, caters the rich section of society.
• This also confirms with our 40 years of observations with the G.P. Dispensing Vaidya using the Choorna & simple form of medicines in their dispensing medicines & give prescriptions of costlier medicines where ever needed.
With this scenario, We have resolved three different series of medicines viz
G.N.Series (Good Nature or can we say Economically Backward Series) are used only in our “Pat Ayurvedic Clinics & Research Centre”.
C. M. Series (Creative Medicines or can we say Common Man Series) are the products we are marketing as above.
Very soon, we are coming with R.M. Series (Rare Medicines or can we say Raja- Maharaja Series) Medicines.
Are Ayurvedic Medicines meeting Global FDA Quality & Needs?
I have been observing since my early career days, that different types of same Granthokta Medicine is looking different & of different priced. Of course, the AYUSH dept., Govt. of India has taken up this point very emphatically.
To meet all these points, we have preferred to Patent & Proprietary Medicines catering the selected diseases – complaints with specific claims & quality with proven results.
We have developed two series of Medicines viz. Herbal & Herbo minerals to cater the Global Needs.
We have developed the PPPL Standards & are using GMP Manufacturing Facilities to manufacture our Pat P & P Medicines.
